  Does the DMV know that long distance charges apply when we are on hold? I've been trying to get a call through for months now. 20 min on hold eats up my entire lunch time at work. Answer the damn phone.

  I registered to vote in August 2016 at the DVM in Kalispell, Montana (the SAME exact time and place that my husband registered to vote.) He was able to vote in the presidental election; but, I was turned away because I was told that I was not registered. When I followed up with the DVM, they explained that it was a "computer glitch." (Thinking they would fix the problem, I checked today to make sure they registered me.) "No. Nope. Try again." Seriously? I am extremely dissappointed. They are unbelievably incompetent and inefficient!

  There was an issue with my new title application and I left my phone number on the application just in case there were issues with it. They cashed my check and never sent me my title or told me there was an issue with my application. After a month, I tried to call multiple times and was on hold for longer than an hour. When I finally got through they told me what the issue was and tried to help the best they could. Once I could talk to them, they were great. But now it will take another 5 weeks to get my title. They need to hire more staff. Pretty ridiculous, to be honest.

  This is seriously the most rude and incompetent DMV that I've ever seen or heard of. The staff is consistently gruff and clearly not concerned about anyone else. It's almost unbelievable the lack of personal care or consideration in almost every single employee. After moving to a different state, it's even more mind-blowing... Here the DMV is packed with people but the obviously well-trained staff exhibit respect, kindness and excellent customer service in the midst of a clearly hectic atmosphere. In Helena, expect to be met with one word abrupt requests and answers. The overall atmosphere in there is like a black cloud. Now I've had to request a replacement title and dealing with them over the phone is almost worse than in person... Its just unbelievable... Just a side note... In my experience other DMV offices in Montana are very good. I've personally dealt with Boulder, Billings, Missoula and Bozeman, all of which were great! Maybe if we keep reporting how bad it is there in the Helena office they will do something about it...? I hope so for the sake of the people in Helena. That place is an embarrassment...

  Been waiting four weeks for a title to come in the mail. Before the move, it was only taking up to 2 weeks and sometimes only a few days. Very upsetting! All the paperwork is submitted electronically. Not sure how it takes over a month to get a title.
